About This Set
Mustard yellow is one of those colours that has its moment every festive season, and for good reason. It's warm, it's rich, and it sits beautifully against Indian skin tones in a way that softer yellows simply don't. This isn't your average bright yellow. It's that deeper, earthier mustard that looks like it belongs at a Haldi ceremony, a festive lunch, or a daytime family celebration, and feels completely intentional when you wear it.
The kurta is made from premium Roman fabric and carries heavy Schiffli eyelet embroidery across the front and sleeves. The tonal embroidery, mustard on mustard, gives it depth without breaking the clean, single-colour look. A V-neckline with delicate floral threadwork and tonal button detailing ties the front together neatly.
The straight-fit trousers have a matching Schiffli lace border at the hem, and the dupatta brings the whole set home with all-over floral embroidery and scalloped lace edges that finish beautifully when draped. This is the kind of suit that looks like it cost twice what it does.
What's in the Set
Kurta: Premium Roman fabric with heavy tonal Schiffli eyelet embroidery on the front and sleeves. V-neckline with floral threadwork and button detailing.
Trousers: Straight-fit with a matching Schiffli lace border at the hem. Comfortable, balanced silhouette.
Dupatta: Lightweight tonal dupatta with all-over floral embroidery and scalloped lace edges. Drapes gracefully without needing any pinning.
Wear It To
Haldi ceremonies, festive lunches and daytime functions, family get-togethers, cultural celebrations, Navratri and Dussehra gatherings, casual wedding guest looks.
Quick Styling Note
Mustard is practically made for gold jewellery, antique gold jhumkas or temple-style earrings look stunning here. Keep the rest minimal so the colour gets the spotlight. For footwear, tan or camel-toned juttis or block heels feel very natural with mustard. If you want something more formal, polished gold sandals work equally well. The scalloped dupatta is best worn loose over one shoulder, that edge does all the work.
Care
Dry clean recommended to keep the embroidery and Roman fabric in good shape. If hand washing, use cold water gently, no wringing. Iron from the reverse side on low heat. Store folded in a muslin bag away from direct sunlight.
